Furnique Limited is proudly is based in Wanganui, NZ, situated on the western banks of the majestic Whanganui River.
Established in 2004, company founder Andrew Toy has worked in the furniture manufacturing and Industrial Coatings business for over 35 years. Having an extensive knowledge in furniture coatings, Andrew and the team an Furnique understand the importance a quality finish.
With quality of finish being paramount, Andrew ensures his team are highly trained by completing Craft Furniture Finishing apprenticeships through Competenz. By having his team qualified allows Furnique to proudly display the Master Furniture Finisher of New Zealand label.
Furnique originally started out restoring furniture. The business has since evolved - now specialising in high-gloss metallic 2-pack polyurethane finishes for the joinery and kitchen manufacturing industries in the lower North Island. Furniture such as kitchens require the quality of finish that Furnique has built it’s reputation on.
Since opening, the company has expanded it’s handling capacity, having constructed an additional 375 square metre building to house an office, preparation workshop and custom-made spray booth. Now with 4 modern spray booths, Furnique can service some of the larger contracts that a furniture manufacturer may have.
